I have a love and hate relationship with the Keto diet.. Only because I absolutely LOVE chocolate..! I mean.. who doesn’t?? It just tastes soooo good! But also soooo not good for you! 😭 So During the week I try to stick to keto cause it helps me not crave sugar and keeps me feeling full. Check out this Keto Pepper Steak Salad recipe for the most perfect filling dinner!
Ingredients:
6 oz Filet Mingon cut into small pieces
1 tb of butter
1 Cup of spinach, raw
1 Cup of watercress
1 oz of mixed yellow and cheddar cube cheese
1/2 diced avocado
1 oz walnuts
Flake salt
Crushed red pepper
Olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
Season the meat with salt and pepper and leave aside. Add the spinach, watercress on the center of a large plate. Add remaining ingredients around the salad, adding olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste. Heat up a medium skillet at medium high heat temperature . Add butter, wait until it melts and add the steak. Flip it in 2-3 minutes until it browns. Transfer meat on top of the salad, then add flake salt and crushed red pepper. Enjoy!
